Thank you, SicherheitsExpo 2019! See you next year…

BlueID SicherheitsExpo

On the 26th and 27th of July 2019, the SicherheitsEXPO 2019 (Security Expo) has brought the most important security industry players together in one event. With a focus on building security, access control, CCTV, fire prevention, perimeter protection, IT-security, alarm equipment and smart home security, the fair showcased the latest safety and security technologies for protection against internal and external criminal attacks. BlueID, as a pioneer for secure mobile keys and cloud-based access control, was among the exhibitors for the second consecutive year.

A hardware-independent access control solution?

This year, BlueID has further consolidated its strong position as a hardware-independent access control solution by showing new BlueID-integrated hardware, such as phg‘s wall reader, Südmetall‘s mortise lock and Uhlmann & Zacher‘s cylinder. Like ISEO and other industry leaders, these companies trust BlueID as their provider for the utmost secure, compliant and scalable mobile access solution. The reason is clear: with BlueID’s technology, lock and wall reader manufacturers can enhance their products by offering an innovative access control solution on top, or instead of traditional physical keys. The integration of BlueID into hardware is simple and does not require Bluetooth or security knowledge by the vendors, who, through the Ready2Go implementations for the Nordic nRF52 and Silicon Labs BGM chip families, benefit from the highest level of technology and security, while saving significant in-house development resources, time and costs.

Digital access as a building block in the digital building as part of an open ecosystem

Not only the advantages of the lock and wall readers manufacturers were highlighted during the fair, but also those of other BlueID partners like the system integrator Sensorberg. In a joint speech with Philipp Spangenberg, CEO of BlueID, the CEO of Sensorberg Michael von Roeder explained the importance of having hardware-independent BlueID as their mobile access solution provider.

“Through BlueID, we have a wide hardware basis. It is fantastic! We are able to offer more products to our customers without investing any development resources on it” , he emphasized.

The speech also covered how both companies disrupt the facility market by offering solutions that focus on the user without compromising security. Topics such as the ease of integration through open APIs, the importance of different connection protocols and the need for a solution that adapts to the various market demands led the listener to the future of cloud-based key management.

Thank you, SicherheitsExpo! See you next year…

Between new demonstrators and speeches, it was the exchange and networking we had with customers, partners and industry players that made the Security Expo 2019 a success. Regardless if at our stand, at your stand, or at our networking event “Bier um 4”: thank you for sharing your challenges with us and inspiring us to further develop our solution for you!

We already look forward to seeing you next year!
